We report the magnetocaloric effect in the La<sub>0.67</sub>Ca<sub>0.33</sub>Mn<sub>0.9</sub>Fe<sub>0.1</sub>O<sub>3</sub>La<sub>0.67</sub>Ca<sub>0.33</sub>Mn<sub>0.9</sub>Fe<sub>0.1</sub>O<sub>3</sub> perovskite. A peak in the magnetic entropy change [ΔS<sub>M</sub>(H)] versus T curve, centered around 113 K, has been observed. −ΔS<sub>M</sub>(H) increases with an increasing applied magnetic field. The maximum value of −ΔS<sub>M</sub>(H) for ΔH = 3 T field has been found to be 1.18 J kg<sup>−1</sup> K<sup>−1</sup> at 113 K with a relative cooling power of ∼87 J kg<sup>−1</sup> and a quite broad operative temperature range 65–160 K.
