In this paper, a three-phase four-wire microgrid is proposed to serve the rural and isolated places. This microgrid is designed with brushless generators, where SyRG (Synchronous Reluctance Generator) is used as DG (Diesel Generator) and PMBLDCG (Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Generator) is employed for wind power extraction. A BSS (Battery Storage System) is also used to make the microgrid reliable and supportive during light load conditions and wind fluctuations. BSS is also helpful to reduce the rating of the DG set during heavy loads. It provides deficit power to the load when DG and wind powers are fully utilized.
