In this work Enhanced Phase Lock Loop (EPLL) is applied in wind-DG microgrid for harmonics elimination, load balancing, voltage regulation, and reactive power compensation at point of common coupling (PCC) under various load conditions. As the energy generation by the wind is uncertain and unpredictable therefore Permanent magnet brushless DC generator (PMBLDCG) based wind power generation is combined with a diesel engine driven Synchronous reluctance generator (SyRG) DG-set to increase stability of the system.
