Viscoelastic properties of a supercooled liquid is studied in terms of dynamic shear modulus G(w) from the self consistent mode coupling theory. Though response function follows the usual stretching behavior, G(w) shows an anomalous behavior-an increasing exponent with lowering of temperature. This bahavior of shear modulus is similar to the experimental results reported by Menon et al.[PRL, 73,963(1994)2.
