Bulk aerodynamic parameterisation is described for estimation of latent and sensible heat fluxes, with the method to obtain the near surface specific humidity, sea surface temperature (SST), near surface air temperature etc., by space borne observations. The accuracy of these parameters on the estimation of these fluxes is also given. The monthly variation of these fluxes by microwave radiometers like SSM/I are explained. The evaporation estimate as based on these satellite parameters is assessed by comparison with ship observations. Sensible heat exchange is also estimated and assessed
