We present here the relativistic formulation for the calculation of the nuclear anapole moment in the relativistic mean field (RMF) approach. The RMF results are presented for relevant nuclei. We also report the result of our preliminary calculations for the nuclear anapole moment for 133Cs obtained with different sets of weak meson-nucleon coupling constants
