The atomic quadrupole shielding factor R<SUB>Θ</SUB> has been calculated for <SUP>2</SUP>P<SUB>3/2</SUB> ground states of Al and In using the Sternheimer uncoupled perturbation numerical approach and Hartree-Fock-Slater wave functions. The calculated values of R<SUB>Θ</SUB>(Al)=0.134 and R<SUB>Θ</SUB> (In)=0.098 are in good agreement with the available experimental estimates of 0.096±0.053 and 0.114±0.030, respectively
