Sternheimer quadrupole shielding-antishielding factors γ(r) are reported for the positive ions of B<SUP>3+</SUP>, Al<SUP>3+</SUP>, Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> and Sc<SUP>3+</SUP> for the first time. The trends in γ(r) within the isoelectronic series corresponding to He, Ne and Ar atoms, respectively, are discussed by combining the present results with those reported earlier
