We report the detection of 82Krββ from the double beta-decay of 82Se in a troilite inclusion of the Cape York meteorite. The calculated half-life is compatible with the umangite result, but incompatible with the cloud-chamber value. The recommended 82Se half-life of T½=(1.2±0.3) × 1020 yr, does not suggest a violation of lepton number conservation
