In a recent note in NATTTBE we (Nabar and Dosai) 2 have shown that in tho case of colloidal gold tho stability as defined by the floeculation value with KC1 goes hand in hand with tho charge on the colloid when it is subjected to dialysis. Since then we have made measurements of tho charge on colloidal ferric hydroxide dialysed and diluted to different extents in tho presence and absence of added electrolytes
