KECELAKAAN SEPEDA MOTOR DI KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract The increase in the number of vehicles in the city of Makassar effect an increase in accidents, especially motorcycle. This study aims to provide an overview of the characteristics of the traffic accident specifically for motorcyclists. Accident data during the period 2011-2015 were processed using statistical analysis methods. Results showed that the largest proportion of accidents is dominated by motorcycle users reached 64.35%. Accident average of 2.7 accident/day and motorcycle user average of 3.3 people/day. The proportion of motorcycle accidents occur on weekdays at 79.25% dominated in the early morning by 33.77%. The majority of motorcycle accident the men with 72.85%. And generally occur in the productive age range of 18-55 years with the percentage reached 71.89%. Perintis Kemedekaan Street has the highest value of 3,420 EAN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang karakteristik kecelakaan lalulintas khusus untuk pengendara sepeda motor. Data kecelakaan selama periode 2011-2015 diolah dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa proporsi terbesar dari kecelakaan didominasi oleh pengguna sepeda motor mencapai 64,35%. Rata-rata kecelakaan sebesar 2,7 kecelakaan/hr dan rata-rata korban penguna sepeda motor sebesar 3,3 orang/hr. Proporsi kecelakaan sepeda motor terjadi pada hari-hari kerja sebesar 79,25% dengan waktu kejadian didominasi terjadi di pagi hari sebesar 33,77%. Mayoritas penguna sepeda motor yang terlibat kecelakaan berjenis kelamin laki-laki sebesar 72,85%. Secara umum terjadi pada rentang usia yang produktif, yaitu 18-55 tahun dengan persentase mencapai 71,89%. Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan mempunyai nilai EAN tertinggi, yaitu 3.420.
