Precipitable Water Vapor (PWV) adalah campuran zat oksigen dan hydrogen yang mengalami reaksi kimia dan dengan bantuan panas matahari berubah bentuk menjadi zat cair. Kandungan uap air memainkan peranan penting dalam mengatur temperatur udara karena menyerap radiasi metahari dan radiasi termal dari permukaan bumi (Miller, 1983).
