Propuesta de un cuadro de indicadores para la medición del impacto social de un aeropuerto. Aplicación al caso de Barcelona-El Prat.

This work makes an analysis of the social and economic impact of airports in the regions where they are located. In addition, it aims to develop a quantitative methodology to assess the social impact of the Barcelona-El Prat Airport. In the first instance, a study was made of the socioeconomic impact generated by airports in Europe and how they benefit to the region. There is also an investigation of the methods and models developed to measure the socio-economic impact and evaluate what practices exist. Then, an econometric model was developed to estimate the impact of a specific airport and applied this model to the case of Barcelona airport. Once the results are obtained, an evaluation of the data is made. A study is also made of the growth trends of the airports and how the Barcelona Airport can adapt to these trends. Finally, a summary of the results obtained is made
