Communities are a fundamental structure in social organizations. It is not surprising, then, that there have been multiple attempts at modeling them in order to better understand the architecture of our civilization. Usually, these models are based on online Social Networks, which provide incredibly valuable data about communities that are believed to be significantly similar to real-life communities. Large scale models have provided insight in several macroscopic properties of these networks.
