The purpose of this thesis is to address the modeling and control of Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based wind energy generation system. Firstly, the complete system will be modeled and a control strategy based on vector control will be designed. Afterwards, simulations of the different operating modes will be carried out in order to observe the behavior of the model as well as to validate the control proposal implemented.Incomin
