The aim of this project is the definition of the necessary equipment installed in a closed test drone's laboratory in order to measure and characterize its aerodynamic performance, robustness and accuracy of the systems of control and guidance, the adjustment and calibration of certain types of payload, and the analysis of their behaviour in both aerodynamic and electromagnetic disturbances. Chapter one discusses the characterization and classification of UAVs and the actual legislation, that drastically limits the use of drones, which creates the need to have a closed space to perform tests, investigations, calibrations, collect data, or do simulations to predict the behaviour of the UAV.
