The project is focused on the design of a wristband and the associated signal conditioning circuitry that enables to measure simultaneously the pulse arrival and the QRS complexes of the user. The prototype consists of a wristband that let to acquire this two signals in the same wrist. In this project, electrodes and photoplethysmographic techniques are proposed to measure this signals overcoming the disadvantages of using dry electrodes. The project is part of a larger project that aims to develop a wristband to record daily activity, heart rate, pulse transit time, heart rate variability and other physiological variables in order to track how healthy is the lifestyle of the user.
