Projecte realitzat en el marc d’un programa de mobilitat amb la Electrical and Computer Engineering de la University of Massachusetts, Amherst[ANGLÈS] Radar interferometry is a remote sensing technique that consists in transmitting a signal and measuring the phase difference of the reflected signal between two antennas separated by a baseline. This phase difference can be used to estimate the topographic height of the target. The height accuracy is limited by the ability to accurately measure the phase difference. The objective of this thesis is to develop and test a Ka-band dual downconverter and upconverter for an interferometer, specially the phase performance of the downconverter and how it is affected by the temperature. This interfer...
