[ANGLÈS] In this thesis, we study both experimentally and theoretically the optical detection of the motion of graphene membranes based on fluorescence quenching of the emitters close to graphene. Fluorescence quenching occurs due to distance-dependent resonant energy transfer from the emitter dipoles to electron-hole dipoles in the graphene, and may be detected by lifetime measurement of the emitters. Nanoresonators consisting of graphene suspended over hole and trench structures coated with quantum dots are fabricated and their surface and emission properties characterised.
