This Project is intended to develop a web application in order to make it easier for pedestrians to navigate using a map system named OpenStreetMap OSM. This Open-Source map system provides us a wide range of possibilities when it comes to develop a new application as its maps are totally editable and servers do not have license limitations. The Project aim is to install and configure our own OSM server which is going to give us all the map information such as roads, points of interest, parks, train lines and so on. Another goal is to implement and set up Nominatim and XAPI services which are going to help us when having to make requests to be able to get data from some points or areas on our map.
