Bandwidth demands are increasing with a high dynamic shape, driven by high definition video, cloudcomputing, business services, Internet of Things (IoT) and emerging next generation mobile networks like 5G. To support this variable pattern, reconfigurable capabilities are to be delivered to access and metro networks.
