HUBUNGAN PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) TATANAN RUMAH TANGGA DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE PADA BALITA DI WILAYAH KELURAHAN TONDO TAHUN 2013

ABSTRACT Background: Diarrhea in children under five years is one potensial of diseases for occurrance extraordinary event in palu city. Risk of diarrheal disease in the Palu city still caused by clean and healthy behaviors (PHBS) are relatively low. The purpose of research to determine the relationship of clean and healthy behavior with diarrhea in the kelurahan Tondo. Research methods: Observational Research with crossectional approach to study. The sample comes from a mother who has children 1-5 years in the kelurahan Tondo, sampling with Probability Sampling techniques. Data collection is carried out using a questionnaire Research results: in this study was 97 respondent, category PHBS very good is 7 household (4.5%) and is not a good is 90 households (92,8%). From the results of statistical analysis with test Chi square for implementation of PHBS with occurrence of diarrhea p results obtained (0.000) greater than the value of α (0.05) this indicates that there is a meaningful relationship between PHBS household order with occurrence of diarrhea in toddler dikelurahan tondo. Based on the results of the penelitianyang done there are some indicators of PHBS household order associated with diarrhea that is exclusive BREAST MILK (p = 0.005), hand-washing (p = 0.003), use of clean water (p = 0.000), Privy healthy (p = 0,009). Conclusion: there is a meaningful relationship between the behavior of living clean and healthy with the occurrence of diarrhea in children under five years in kelurahan Tondo. It is obtained based on the results of the statistical tests with a value of p = 0,000. Suggestion: This research could be a description of the behavior of clean and healthy in the kelurahan Tondo and further enhance the value of the PHBS in the family . Keywords: PHBS, diarrhea, children under five years ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Penyakit diare merupakan salah satu penyakit yang berpotensi untuk terjadinya kejadian luar biasa (KLB) di kota Palu. Risiko terjadinya penyakit diare di Kota Palu masih disebabkan oleh perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) yang relatif rendah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dengan kejadian diare pada balita di wilayah kelurahan Tondo. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan crossectional study. Sampel berasal dari ibu yang mempunyai balita 1-5 tahun yang berada di wiayah kelurahan Tondo, Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Probability Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil Penelitian: Dari 97 responden, kategori PHBS baik yaitu 7 rumah tangga (7,2%) dan yang tidak baik 90 rumah tangga(92,8%). Dari hasil analisis statistik dengan uji Chi square untuk penerapan PHBS dengan kejadian diare didapatkan hasil p (0,000) lebih kecil dari nilai α (0,05) hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara PHBS tatanan rumah tangga dengan kejadian diare pada balita dikelurahan Tondo tahun 2013. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan ada beberapa indikator PHBS tatanan rumah tangga yang berhubungan dengan diare yaitu ASI eksklusif (p = 0,005), cuci tangan (p = 0,003), penggunaan air bersih (p = 0,000), jamban sehat (p = 0,009). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara PHBS dengan kejadian diare dengan didapatkan nilai klasifikasi PHBS (p = 0,000) Saran: Penelitian ini bisa menjadi gambaran perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di desa Tondo dan lebih meningkatkan lagi nilai PHBS di keluarganya masing-masing.
