ABSTRACT Background: Nosocomial infections are still a concern in the world of health because it can harm patients treated at the Hospital or other health care facilities. All microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites can cause nosocomial infections. Airborne transmission is generally easy to occur in closed spaces such as in hospital buildings, wards, nursing rooms, or in clinical laboratories.
