La gestión de la información científica proporcionada por el criterio de expertos

This research aims to investigate on the behavior of the process of management of scientific information provided by the criteria of experts at the Oriente University in Cuba. In this regard, an exploratory study of that process was conducted from a documentary sample, conformed by thesis of undergraduate and doctoral, and using interviews to researchers professors. The developed study verified that there are inadequacies related to the location and access to expert groups, criteria for evaluation and the mechanisms used for managing and processing the information provided by these. Further verifying, the need to elaborate computer products with open access policies, which enable lessen the identified shortcomings
