Relevamiento sobre condiciones de trabajo de los bibliotecarios en Argentina: una experiencia potenciando el uso de las NTICs

As Pro-Union Assembly of Librarians we want to present our work experience on one of the most common problems in our collective self: we the right to information in relation to a third party without defending the same right in relation to us as professionals and as workers. Many times we find an empty important information regarding our group, to this reality started to develop a survey of national data that helped us meet the employment status of librarians in Argentina. By extension of our country and the working characteristics of our group (members in Buenos Aires, in the province of Buenos Aires and the city of San Carlos de Bariloche (Rio Black)) is implemented using ICTs to take out, while we considered strategies for dissemination of results and information gathered from this survey. The new technologies gave us tools to contact fellow librarians, scattered throughout our country, not only answered the proposed questionnaire, but also added their valuable comments and everyday experiences, allowing us to recognize situations that are repeated in professional, others are part of the local context and from our place of residence would have been impossible to know. So our intention is to present the tools we use, how they were used and what were the results. What they brought us to break the isolation of the professional, knowing and recognizing the existence of others who share similar work situations, and considering these issues in a more comprehensive manner, nationwide and not limited to one region or type of library
