Pour une typologie documentaire de l'information en art contemporain

The question of research raised in this paper is how typologi, viewed here as a subject organization of information categories, in the field of contemporary art, can be of some help in the criticism of the information sources and their accessibility. In a first part, we study typology as a theoretical tool of documentation and research. A second empirical part is devoted to the elaboration of a typological chart based on the analysis of five major websites and gateways on plastic arts and art history
