Humans, throughout their history, by several ways, have felt the natural need of represent symbolically some social construction of knowledge. We aim to analyze and detach how significant was for the different illiterate communities to have successfully preserved, defended and cultivated their mother tongue as a sign of cultural identity. In most communities that are living under a social vulnerability context, could be detected a permanent extinction risk of their intangible cultural heritage.
