Integración de recursos de información electrónicos en bibliotecas digitales universitarias: criterios y propspectiva

This paper discusses general concepts of digital libraries library science, the basis for its construction and integration of digital collections that make up that. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the stage occupied by digital libraries, and the integration of digital collections in that specific criteria to support academic and research activities of the university community in general. The structure of the document consists of three sections, and are as follows: first, addressing theoretical aspects of digital libraries, and second, we discuss some of the background criteria for the selection of digital collections, third, we analyze contemporary criteria for selecting digital collections, as well as discussed a forecast on that activity. The article closes with some concluding remarks
