La evolución en la formación de los bibliotecarios

Starting from the concept of library, the essay points out the main tasks to be undertaken by librarians as part of their job, with a view to establishing the contents of the courses for their training. Also analysed are the origins and evolution of training centres for librarians, with special emphasis on the situation in Spain. The study ends with an analysis of the possible development of University teaching in the European Union from the Declaration of Bologna onwards
