Bibliotekarz na miarę czasów

This article contemplates the problem of a proper model of librarian in the context of the 21st century expactations and challenges. The text is based upon the questionnaire survey that was done at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruń in November- December, 2005. The survery comprised a group of 100 students of the Faculty and it was to identify the basic features of contemporary librarian from the readers’ perspective. The results of the above-mentioned research have also been used for the improvements of the current practice of the Faculty Library
