The impulse given by the Knowledge Management and the Evidence Based Medicine has contributed to that the librarians acquire strategies to manage the process of learning of the health care professionals and participate in multidisciplinary working group, in order to sustain the decisions of the physicians with information of proven effectiveness, for a clinical practice of quality, contributing in this way to rethink the role of librarian as an information consultant
