A comparative study of publishers and vendors (international and domestic) of international health sciences journals was performed with a new method using a sample of 180 titles. Earlier findings from similar assessment studies were revised. A health sciences core list of 370 titles was selected taking into account their ISI impact factor and indexation in MEDLINE, as well as other required data. Three serial prices listed (one from an original editor and two from different serial vendors) were comparatively studied, and we also looked into the characteristic details of the sales offer.
