Bosna i Hercegovina na starim geografskim kartama u kartografskoj zbirci Nacionalne i univerzitetske biblioteke Bosne i Hercegovine

The National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its Department of Special Collections has a map collection as a part of its cultural and historical inheritance. Even though the major fund was destroyed by the fire in 1992, the collection, whatever preserved and in a meantime acquired, has 4.750 geographical maps, atlases etc. If we follow the survey of the most important B&H maps made by the foreign mapmakers the historical events are visible through the centuries. In the next period the research work on finding maps at the archives of neighbouring countries, reparation of existing and their adequate protection are necessary
