Among cartographic works, three-dimensional panoramas should be marked out as a special kind of map, which are characterised by visual modes of representing objects in space. The main principles of the creation of both hand-painted and automated maps vector and raster graphics software (Corel Draw and Adobe Photoshop) are considered in the paper.
