Граничная задача с условиями неймана для нестрого гиперболического уравнения второго порядка

The specific feature of this problem is that the boundary conditions are given not on the whole boundary of the domain in which an equation is posed, but only on its part. This part of the boundary depends on the relation between t and l/a. In this paper the classical solution to the problem under study is constructed using the method of characteristics. According to this method, general solution of the equation contains the sum of two functions, which depend on the argument x+at and are found from initial and boundary conditions. Matching conditions for initial and boundary conditions are derived from the requirement of twice continuously differentiable solution taking into account smoothness of the functions. It is noticed that in the case of strictly hyperbolic equations, the requirements on the smoothness of the initial data are of one order lower. The obtained results can be used for well-posed formulation of boundary value problems for hyperbolic equations. = Особенностью данной задачи является то, что граничные условия поставлены не на всей границе области, в которой задано уравнение, а лишь на ее части. Эта часть границы зависит от соотношения t и l/a. В работе строится классическое решение вышеуказанной задачи методом характеристик. Согласно этому методу в общем решении исходного уравнения содержится сумма двух функций, зависящих от аргумента x+at, которые на области определения находятся из начальных и граничных условий. Выводятся условия согласования начальных и граничных условий с учетом гладкости заданных функций, вытекающие из требования дважды непрерывной дифференцируемости решения. Отмечено, что в случае строго гиперболического уравнения требования на гладкость начальных данных на порядок ниже. Полученные результаты могут быть использованы для корректной постановки граничных задач для гиперболических уравнений
