PENGARUH LATIHAN KEKUATAN OTOT LENGAN TERHADAP HASIL TOLAK PELURU

This research aims to find out how much the muscle arms strength training influences the shotput result in O’brein style towards the students of grade VIII.B in SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. The research method applied was experimental research. The subject of research was students of grade VIII.B in SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung with 32 students, in details 14 males and 18 females. The data collecting technique used was the shotput test result. While the data analysis used was using different t-test and influence t-test. The research result shown: in the pre test the data gained tcount value = 0,166 ttable 1,697, from this result it was shown that in the pre test there was no significant difference between the experimental and control classes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh latihan kekuatan otot lengan terhadap hasil tolak peluru gaya O’brein terhadap siswa kelas VIII.B di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.B yang berjumlah 32 siswa, dengan jumlah 14 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil tolak peluru. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t perbedaan dan uji-t pengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: pada tes awal didapat nilai thitung = 0,166 ttabel = 1,697 dari hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tes awal tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.Kata kunci : latihan, kekuatan, otot lenga
