This article describes how Jews were presented in medieval texts. It is based on two main sources being: A Dominican manuscript in the library of Wrocław University and a collection of de sanctis sermons by Peregrinus de Opole OP. Both texts include stories about Christian/Jewish coexistence. In this period, coexistence was characterised neither by hostility nor by friendship. Jews were primarily regarded as potential candidates for conversion whereby, like returning “lost sheep”, nearly all of them became Christians.In hac commentatione scribitur de Iudaeis, qui mediaevalibus in exemplis homileticis occurruntur.
