Realising the economic goals in the transformation of a political system is related to the full employment allowing for the needs of the labour market. The management of employment is crucial in this area. In her article, the author discusses the circumstances defining the forms and methods of managing the labour resources in Poland, also analysing the process of developing a labour management mechanism after 1990.
