Mutually connected structural social changes are going on the level : society, family and individual. Undergoing changes are the great challenge to - among others - home economics. Problems of the family - in the context of home economics -may be seen through different prospects: historical, inner and inter culture. Also from the point of view of the budget of the family and the possible ways of sharing it into different types of expenditures and from the point of view of women other role in home economics today and in the past and the division of roles between sexes.
