This paper presents Hybrid Biogeography algorithm for solving the multi-objective reactive power dispatch problem in a power system. Real Power Loss minimization and maximization of voltage stability margin are taken as the objectives. Artificial bee colony optimization (ABC) is quick and forceful algorithm for global optimization. Biogeography-Based Optimization (BBO) is a new-fangled biogeography inspired algorithm.
