El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es analizar el tratamiento de temas como la distinción entre los géneros masculino y femenino y la sexualidad en los años 50 en Estados Unidos, tomando como ejemplo para ello la obra Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, una de las más célebres del escritor Tennessee Williams. En ella, el autor se encarga de dar voz a cierto tipo de personajes, como mujeres y homosexuales, que solían ser silenciados, e incluso los convierte en protagonistas de su obra.
