The purpose with this study was to examine the social interaction between social worker and their clients, with focus on the concept’s treatment, communication and power. The study collected information with help of qualitative interviews, there sex social worker who works with financial aid attended. The empiric of the study present experiences from social workers social interaction with their client, with focus on the concept’s treatment, communication and power. The social workers mention among other that a good treatment and a comprehensible communication in the interaction with the client is of relevance to create a good relation. The social worker also mentions that their role as professional includes an institutional power and how important it is to be aware of it. The social worker mentioned furthermore the difficulties that can arise in the interaction with the client, and in relation to the examined concepts. The result as whole gives a subjective information on how social worker who works with financial aid experiences the social interaction with their client, with the focus on the concepts treatment, communication and power. The result shows opinions on how professional should approach, and which role they play in their interaction with their client.
