The purpose of this thesis is to develop a generic and operative road map for implementing radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and describe how this road map should be applied at Nowaste Logistics. Furthermore, the purpose is to carry out the RFID implementation at Nowaste Logistics according to the developed road map until a system design is selected and a system integrator is chosen. A plan for a pilot will also be set up. The generic road map is developed following an innovative renewal process. This is done by studying literature concerning RFID implementation models and guidelines and analyse these to develop an operative road map for the RFID implementation process.
