Clients suffering from dual diagnosis are often an exposed group within social work. This particular group ends up between treatment because of a mental illness or from drug abuse. According to research these clients get their needs met through different organizations cooperation. The purpose of this essay was to create an understanding of the difficulties in working with this distinct group and the meaning of the cooperation. We used a qualitative method that was analyzed with a cooperation theory as well as a political perspective on an organization theory.
