This thesis deals with the interventions of Security Council of the United Nations. In addition to this, the project is about the formation of the creation of United Nations. The primary focus is paid to the Security Council and its role in relation to the military interventions during and after the cold war. The content of the analysis is based on the liberalistic and neorealistic approach. I use the liberalistic approach to define the creation of the United Nations. On the contrary I use the neorealistic approach to study and analyze the successes and failures of the Security Councils military actions during and after the cold war.
