An inventarization of mangrove species in Kertasari Bay, Western Sumbawa during July –December, 2003 revealed those seven species was noted. They were Sonneratia alba, Rhizophora stylosa, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora sp., Avicennia marina, Aegiceras corniculatum, dan Ceriops s. Analysis of ecological data of those seven mangrove species shows that Sonneratia alba was dominated the composition of the vegetation with the important value 104-188.4%. In year 2005, the composition have already change. Aegiceras corniculatum is dominated the composition of mangrove vegetation. The vegetation have been altered by human activities, mainly illegal loging
