PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN ITM (PEMECAHAN MASALAH) DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPS MAHASISWA PGSD

Abstract: The purpose of this class action research are (1) To increase learning motivation of students in mastering basic competencies in education courses IPS SD I, (2) To increase the creativity of students in solving the existing problems in the community, (3) To improve the performance or results student learning. The research model used is a model of self-reflection spiral consisting of four phases / stages, the plan-action-observation-reflection, with the cycle repeated cycle. The subjects were students of the fifth semester with the object of research is the study of IPS SD I.Pengumpulan data using written tests, questionnaires, observation guidelines. Data analysis technique used qualitative analysis. Results from the study after class action through three cycles are as follows: (1) the average score of students' learning motivation is 74.5, (2) the average duty of students is 8.0, (3) the increase in the average acquisition results Education and learning IPS SD I from the first cycle to the second cycle was 5.6%, an increase from the second cycle to the third cycle was 15%.Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah (1) Untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam menguasai kompetensi dasar dalam mata kuliah pendidikan IPS SD I, (2) Untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang ada dalam masyarakat, (3) Untuk meningkatkan prestasi atau hasil belajar mahasiswa. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model spiral refleksi diri yang terdiri dari empat fase/tahap yaitu, rencana-tindakan-observasi-refleksi, dengan siklus berdaur ulang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester V dengan objek penelitian adalah pembelajaran IPS SD I.Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis, angket, pedoman observasi. Teknik analisis data digunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian tindakan kelas setelah melalui tiga siklus adalah sebagai berikut : (1) rata-rata skor motivasi belajar mahasiswa adalah 74,5 , (2) rata-rata tugas mahasiswa adalah 8,0 , (3) kenaikan rata-rata perolehan hasil belajar pembelajaran Pendidikan IPS SD I dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 5,6%, kenaikan dari siklus kedua ke siklus ketiga adalah 15%.Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran berbasis masalah, perolehan hasil belajar pendidikan IPS SD
