PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN PROSES PEMBENTUKAN TANAH MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH

Abstract : The aim of research is to improve understanding the process of land formation by applying cooperative learning model of type make a match at the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Kleco 2 No 242 Surakarta the academic year 2016/2017. The form of this research is classroom action research (CAR), that conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consist of four phases, there are planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research are the teacher and 30 students of class at the fifth grade of SD Negeri Kleco 2 No 242 Surakarta, the academic year 2016/2017. The techniques of collecting data of this research are observation, interview, test, and documentations. The techniques of analyzing data of this research is the interactive analyzing model. The validity test of this research is using the triangulation technique of source and triangulation techniques. The results showed the understanding the process of land formation at the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Kleco 2 No 242 Surakarta the academic year 2016/2017. This is evidenced by the average value of the understanding of the process of land formation of students before the action of 53.96 with the percentage of 36,66% mastery, then increased in the first cycle to 73.96% with the percentage of classical completeness of 76.66%, and more increased again in the second cycle of 87.5 with a percentage of classical completeness of 90%. Based on the result of the research which is held in two cycle, it can be conclude that by using cooperative learning model of type make a match can improve understanding the process of land formation at the fifth grade student of SD Negeri Kleco 2 No 242 Surakarta the academic year 2016/2017. Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman proses pembentukan tanah melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match pada siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Kleco 2 No.242 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan 30 siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Kleco 2 No.242 Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif. Uji validitas pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tercapainya pemahaman proses pembentukan tanah pada siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Kleco 2 No.242 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017. hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata pemahaman proses pembentukan tanah siswa sebelum tindakan sebesar 53,96 dengan persentase ketuntasan 36,66%, kemudian meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 73,96% dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 76,66%, dan lebih meningkat lagi pada siklus II yaitu 87,5 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match dapat meningkatakan pemahaman proses pembentukan tanah pada siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Kleco 2 No.242 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017
