Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine which method is better between Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite And Review (PQ4R) method and task giving method to reading comprehension ability. This research method used is quasi-experiment research. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Based on this research result found that tobs > t(0,025;44) (3,1229 > 2,01537), so Ho was rejected.
