The purposes of this study were: (1) Determine the effect of adding the element magnesium (Mg) in the aluminium foundry on Impact strength. (2) Determine the effect of the addition of the element magnesium (Mg) in the aluminium foundry on the level of hardness. (3) Determine the influence of the addition of the element magnesium (Mg) in the aluminium foundry to microstructure. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. This method is implemented by providing independent variables intentionally to the object of study to know the effect on the dependent variable research sample used is adding 2% and 5% of magnesium .Each specimen number 3 pieces of samples.
